­Our Junior Sous Chef (Pastry) role is an integral part of our team and a wonderful opportunity for the right person to be part of an exciting and unique dining experience. The Junior Sous Chef will ensure the flawless service together with a multi-skilled team of food and beverage professionals.


ABOUT YOU


This role calls for a talented chef, someone passionate about working with the finest, freshest ingredients and in delivering quality dishes and products. You will take an organised approach to your role and prioritise effectively to ensure the smooth running of your section, sharing your knowledge and supporting in the training and development of the Commis chefs in the brigade.

We are recruiting for the position of Junior Sous Chef (Pastry) for our new luxury residence, Auriens Chelsea. Joining our dynamic pre-opening team, to help define and deliver our exceptional food and beverage offering.At Auriens, we are always looking for passionate, creative, and dedicated individuals to join our team.


We are looking for someone who can think creatively, who has an entrepreneurial outlook and way of working, people who value long term relationships and want to be part of building the most exciting new brand in luxury later living.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as Chef de partie - pastry
  • Specialisation and experience in Pastry 
  • Previous experience in a 5-star establishment (preferred)
  • Experience in healthy food preparation
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) (preferred)
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English
